Full Stack Developer (Angular and Node.js)

About the role

This is a Full Stack Developer role focused on building and maintaining modern web applications using Angular and Node.js, with a solid understanding of cloud platforms and databases. You will have hands-on experience across the full technology stack, from frontend to backend to cloud deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Angular (frontend) and Node.js (backend)
• Design, implement, and manage databases using PostgreSQL
• Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Integrate AI features into applications where applicable
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality solutions
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices
• Ensure high performance, security, and responsiveness of all applications
• Identify and resolve bugs and technical issues across the stack
• Contribute to code reviews and support continuous improvement efforts
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend their adoption where beneficial

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Professional experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong track record of delivering production-ready applications
• Proficiency in Angular and Node.js for web application development
• Experience with PostgreSQL for database design and management
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for deploying and managing applications
• Experience in developing and integrating APIs, using RESTful APIs
• Understanding of web application security best practices (e.g., secure authentication, data protection, and vulnerability prevention)
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams
• Preferably 3-5 years of experience in a similar size organisation and/or similar industry
• Previous work involving cloud-native applications, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
