About the Role

We are building a portfolio of AI-powered software products spanning fintech, energy technology, and business automation. Our flagship build is an integrated accounting, HR, and payroll platform that takes small businesses from employee setup and time capture through pay calculation, approval, payment, statutory filing, reporting, and financial forecasting, with an AI review layer that keeps every high-risk decision under human control. Alongside it, we operate a live test preparation platform, an AI diagnostic platform for schools and families, and a set of internal automation systems built on modern SaaS tooling.

We are hiring a Full Stack Developer who can own features end to end: designing and refining the user interface, building the application and data layers, wiring up third-party and backend integrations, and building and training the AI models and algorithms that make these products intelligent. You will work directly with the founder, ship to production frequently, and see your work used by real customers within weeks, not quarters.

What You Will Work On

• Design, build, and ship features across the full stack for a multi-product portfolio: an accounting/HR/payroll platform.
• Implement complex, rules-driven business logic: payroll calculation engines, effective-dated records, validation and exception workflows, approval chains, audit trails, and role-based access control.
• Own UI/UX improvements: translate product requirements into clean, intuitive interfaces, refine existing screens, build dashboards and guided workflows, and maintain visual and interaction consistency across products.
• Build and maintain backend integrations: banking and payments (payment batches, reconciliation, Stripe), government and compliance filing interfaces, identity verification, e-signature (DocuSign), email/SMS, and webhook-driven automations.
• Build and train AI capabilities: LLM-powered features (grounded Q&A, document extraction, explainable financial review), anomaly detection on payroll and financial data, scoring and recommendation algorithms, prompt and evaluation pipelines, and model fine-tuning where needed.
• Design data models and APIs: relational schemas with row-level security, RESTful and RPC endpoints, background jobs, and reporting queries that stay fast as data grows.
• Harden security and reliability: authentication and authorization, secrets handling, security headers and CORS policies, audit logging, and automated testing around money-moving and compliance-critical paths.
• Contribute to product decisions: review requirements documents, flag risks and edge cases, estimate work honestly, and propose simpler paths to the same outcome.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional full stack development experience shipping production web applications.
• Strong proficiency with React and TypeScript/JavaScript, including Next.js and modern component patterns, state management, and responsive design with Tailwind CSS or similar.
• Solid backend experience with Node.js and PostgreSQL; hands-on experience with Supabase (or comparable: RLS policies, edge functions, auth) is a strong plus.
• Demonstrated experience integrating third-party APIs and services: payments (Stripe or similar), OAuth flows, webhooks, file-based interchange formats, and CRM or messaging platforms.
• Practical experience building AI/ML features: working with LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI, or similar), prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, and evaluating model output quality; and/or training and deploying classical ML models (classification, anomaly detection, forecasting) with Python.
• Good design sense: you can take a rough requirement and produce a usable, polished interface without a dedicated designer, and you sweat details like empty states, loading states, and error handling.
• Strong written English and the ability to work independently: clear async updates, well-documented code, and disciplined use of version control (Git).
• Availability to work US Eastern Time business hours consistently from India.

Nice to Have

• Experience with accounting, payroll, tax, or other compliance-heavy domains where correctness, auditability, and effective-dated data matter.
• Experience with fintech integrations: bank feeds, payment initiation, reconciliation, or open banking APIs.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) and comfort operating at high velocity with AI tooling.
• Experience with Vercel deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and web application security hardening (CSP, CORS, security headers).
• Experience in education technology or building assessment/testing platforms.
• Prior work in a startup or founder-led environment where you owned outcomes rather than tickets.

Pay: From ₹150,000.00 per month
