Full Stack Developer

Company: Chinasoft International

Employment Type: Full-time, 12-month Renewable Contract

Work Location: On-site at a Major Public Health Institution (Kai Tak)

Key Responsibilities

• Full Stack Engineering: Design, develop, and deploy high-performance web applications using React.js for the frontend and Node.js for the backend.
• Database Architecture: Design scalable NoSQL schemas, optimize queries, and manage data integrity using MongoDB.
• Code Quality & Optimization: Write clean, modular, and testable code. Conduct rigorous code reviews and implement performance tuning across the stack.
• System Integration: Troubleshoot complex system bottlenecks and ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.
• Agile Collaboration: Work closely with Business Analysts, QA Testers, and System Architects in iterative sprint cycles to meet strict project milestones.

Requirements

• General Experience: Minimum of 6 years of solid, hands-on web development experience.
• Core Tech Stack: At least 4 years of intensive, proven experience in both React.js and Node.js development.
• Database Expertise: Solid, practical experience with MongoDB, including advanced querying, indexing, and performance optimization.
• Problem Solving: Highly analytical mindset with a track record of independently resolving complex technical challenges.
• Language: Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese.
