Full Stack Developer

Who you are

• 5–8 years of software development experience with proven full stack expertise
• Hands-on proficiency with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture
• Experience building frontend applications with React, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, or equivalent frameworks
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases, data modeling, and query optimization, plus familiarity with NoSQL databases
• Working knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, RAG, prompt engineering, and Model Context Protocol (MCP)
• Practical experience with AWS or comparable cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Git, OAuth2, RBAC, and application security fundamentals
• Solid grasp of system design, distributed systems, scalability principles, and engineering best practices, with the ability to drive features independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders

What the job involves

• As a Full Stack Developer at Zoom, you will take end-to-end ownership of features and services that reach users worldwide, from design through deployment, monitoring, and production support
• This role spans backend engineering, frontend development, and applied AI, offering you the chance to build meaningful, scalable solutions across the full technology stack
• You will work with autonomy and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners who value craft, curiosity, and continuous improvement
• You will join a team of engineers building systems that support Zoom's platform at scale, working across backend services, intelligent APIs, and AI-enabled workflows
• The team values end-to-end ownership, technical rigor, and a collaborative approach to solving complex problems
• You will partner closely with product, design, and infrastructure partners to ship features that make a real difference to how people connect and collaborate
• Build scalable full stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, TypeScript), REST and GraphQL APIs, and relational and NoSQL databases
• Design and maintain robust backend services and APIs with a focus on performance, security, and long-term reliability
• Build and integrate AI and LLM-based solutions including AI agents, RAG pipelines, tool calling, and prompt-based workflows, with working knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP)
• Own features from end to end, covering design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full stack, including frontend, backend, APIs, and database layers
• Apply AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar to accelerate delivery and improve code quality
