Full Stack Developer

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer with active TS/SCI clearance to develop secure, cloud-native applications from database schema through backend services and production user interfaces. You will support an existing platform while building pilot solutions, APIs, and custom MVPs in a secure, classified environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop robust Python backends using Django, FastAPI (including async/ASGI) with modern Python 3.13+.
• Build production-grade frontends using React, Next.js or equivalent modern frameworks.
• Design RESTful APIs, Backend-for-Frontend patterns, and Pydantic-driven validation.
• Handle PostgreSQL schema design, query optimization, migrations, and data loading.
• Manage AWS application deployment and troubleshooting across classified partitions and regions (EKS, Aurora, S3, IAM, VPC, KMS).
• Utilize Terraform for infrastructure module development and maintenance.
• Integrate authentication using Keycloak, OIDC, SAML, or CAC/PIV with secure token handling.
• Maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines and ensure secure development for STIG-hardened, FIPS-validated environments.

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI Clearance is strictly required.
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Proven production experience with Python (Django/FastAPI) and modern frontend (React/Next.js).
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud deployment, Terraform, and DevSecOps tools.
• Must live in Maryland and be comfortable working onsite in Suitland, MD 2-3 days weekly if required.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
