We are looking for a motivated and passionate Full Stack Developer Intern (MERN Stack) to join our technology team and gain practical experience building, improving, and maintaining real-world web applications.

Job Description

As a Full Stack Developer Intern, you will work with our development team to build and improve web applications using the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js).

You will have the opportunity to contribute to real projects, write and maintain code, troubleshoot technical issues, work with APIs and databases, and learn modern software development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.js and JavaScript.
• Build and maintain backend applications and APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
• Design, implement, and manage databases using MongoDB.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and third-party services.
• Develop reusable and maintainable frontend components.
• Assist with debugging, testing, and resolving application issues.
• Write clean, organized, and efficient code.
• Collaborate with other developers, designers, and team members.
• Use Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Assist in improving application performance, usability, and reliability.
• Research and learn new technologies relevant to ongoing projects.
• Document development processes and technical solutions when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of JavaScript.
• Experience with or understanding of React.js.
• Familiarity with Node.js and Express.js.
• Basic knowledge of MongoDB or other database systems.
• Understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and API integration.
• Basic understanding of Git/GitHub.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for software development and technology.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with any of the following will have an advantage:

• Personal or academic projects built with the MERN Stack.
• Experience deploying web applications using platforms such as Vercel, Render, Netlify, or similar services.
• Familiarity with responsive web design.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization.
• Understanding of database design and CRUD operations.
• Familiarity with Agile or collaborative software development.
• A GitHub profile or portfolio demonstrating previous projects.
