Full Stack Developer - Java & Angular

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer (Java & Angular) to join a large-scale enterprise project in Lisbon. You will be part of a highly collaborative and international environment, contributing to the development of modern, scalable, and secure applications built on Angular and Java Spring Boot technologies.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building robust full-stack solutions, working with microservices architectures, and contributing to the evolution of high-performing digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Angular and Java Spring Boot .
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, UX/UI Designers, and other development teams.
• Build reusable and maintainable front-end components following best practices.
• Ensure application performance, security, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Support technical discussions and architectural decisions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the full application stack.

Required Skills & Experience

Front-End

• Strong experience with Angular (v12+) .
• Experience with TypeScript , JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Knowledge of responsive design and modern UI development principles.
• Experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs.

Back-End

• Solid experience with Java and Spring Boot .
• Strong understanding of microservices architectures.
• Experience developing and maintaining RESTful services.
• Knowledge of SQL databases and data modelling.

DevOps & Cloud

• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and automated deployment pipelines.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is highly valued.
• Understanding of cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Engineering Practices

• Strong understanding of software design principles and OOP.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of application security best practices and OWASP standards.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Micro-Frontends.
• Knowledge of API Gateway and Service Mesh concepts.
• Exposure to observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience in highly regulated sectors such as Banking, Insurance, or Financial Services.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM-related technologies and intelligent automation initiatives.
