🔎 What are we looking for?

Senior Full Stack Java Engineer to join a cross-functional Agile team working on strategic initiatives within the banking sector. You will participate in the complete software development lifecycle, collaborating with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

📍 Location: Hybrid model in Madrid - Ventas area (3 days onsite / 2 days remote).

🔧 Key Responsibilities

Own the full software delivery lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, release, and monitoring.

Collaborate closely with business and technology teams to transform business requirements into technical solutions.

Design and build scalable backend services and modern frontend applications.

Work alongside Solution Architects to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.

Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.

Contribute to internal engineering communities, sharing knowledge and mentoring peers.

Drive quality through automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices.

🔧 What do we need?

7+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.

3+ years of experience in Full Stack development.

Strong expertise in:

• Java
• Spring Boot
• REST APIs / Service-Oriented Architecture
• Oracle SQL
• React and/or Angular
• JavaScript
• TypeScript
• Kubernetes
• Virtual Machines
• Kafka & Avro
• OpenAPI
• UML
• English B2+/C1

Experience delivering solutions using TDD , BDD , and automated testing practices.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps principles.

Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and clean code principles.

Proven experience within banking or financial services environments.

Strong understanding of Client Pricing processes and Core Banking Systems .

⭐ Nice to Have

• Experience with AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code , GitHub Copilot, or similar coding assistants.
