Full Stack Developer (Java)

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join an international software engineering team involved in the development of complex, high-availability applications. This is an opportunity to contribute to innovative projects, collaborate with global experts, and work with modern technologies in a challenging technical environment.

A typical day might include the following:

• Contribute to software architecture, design and implementation of new functionalities;
• Develop and maintain scalable microservices-based applications;
• Deliver clean, maintainable and well-tested code;
• Create and execute integration and unit tests;
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions;
• Improve and optimize existing applications and services;
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing;
• Mentor less experienced team members;
• Collaborate with international and cross-functional teams;
• Support CI/CD and automation initiatives throughout the software development lifecycle.

To ensure success in this role, you need the following experience and skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field;
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development;
• At least 3 years of experience designing and developing microservices-based applications;
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot and modern software design principles;
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web technologies;
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and reusable software components;
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, event-driven architectures, Kafka and/or RabbitMQ;
• Experience working with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL;
• Good understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures;
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms;
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins;
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban);
• Experience using AI-assisted engineering and development tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and related cloud-native technologies;
• Knowledge of Redis and scalable application architectures;
• Experience working in high-availability or mission-critical environments;
• Familiarity with DDD, TDD and BDD methodologies;
• Exposure to AI/LLM technologies and modern AI-driven development practices;
• French language skills represent a plus.
