Full Stack Developer - Java ( Spring Boot)

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer (Java Spring Boot) to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java and the Spring ecosystem, with experience building RESTful APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build reliable software solutions, integrate third-party systems, improve platform architecture, and contribute across both backend and frontend components where required.

Core Responsibilities

Backend Development & System Design

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java (JDK 17) and Spring Boot.
• Build secure, versioned, and well-documented RESTful APIs with robust validation and error handling.
• Develop microservices using Spring Cloud and distributed system architecture.
• Implement modular, layered, and clean architectural principles.
• Design extension points, interceptors, bean lifecycle hooks, and Spring ApplicationContext integrations.
• Own features from design through development, deployment, and production support.

API Development & Integrations

• Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger standards.
• Develop integrations with third-party platforms, external services, and connected devices.
• Build asynchronous and event-driven workflows using RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Implement reliable service-to-service communication while managing shared dependencies and avoiding classpath conflicts.

Database & Data Management

• Design and optimize PostgreSQL or MySQL databases, schemas, indexes, and complex queries.
• Develop efficient persistence layers using MyBatis or MyBatis-Plus.
• Manage database versioning and migrations using Liquibase.
• Ensure transactional consistency, concurrency control, and data integrity across distributed systems.

Performance, Caching & Reliability

• Implement distributed caching strategies using Redis.
• Develop background jobs, schedulers, and asynchronous processing.
• Identify and resolve scalability issues, performance bottlenecks, and race conditions.
• Improve backend reliability, observability, logging, monitoring, and auditing.

Security

• Implement authentication and authorization using Spring Security.
• Apply secure coding practices and industry-standard security principles.
• Ensure secure API communication and access control.

Frontend Collaboration

• Collaborate across backend and frontend systems.
• Contribute to modern web applications using Vue.js, TypeScript, or similar frontend frameworks when required.

Infrastructure & Deployment

• Work with Docker and containerized deployment workflows.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Manage application configurations across development, staging, and production environments.
• Work with AWS or similar cloud platforms.

Collaboration & Engineering Excellence

• Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, Frontend, DevOps, and Engineering teams.
• Maintain high standards for code quality, documentation, testing, and engineering best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4–5 years of professional experience in Backend Development using Java.

• Experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with MyBatis or MyBatis-Plus.
• Experience implementing Redis caching.
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
• Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud infrastructure.
• Experience working across backend and frontend technologies.
• Understanding of concurrency, scalability, distributed systems, and application performance optimization.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Vue 3, TypeScript, Axios, or Element Plus.
• Experience integrating AI/LLM-based workflows or automation.
• Experience with IoT, MQTT, TCP/IP, or hardware integrations.
• Experience in Healthcare, HealthTech, FinTech, POS, Retail, or other high-transaction systems.
• Familiarity with Jakarta EE, Lombok, or Shell scripting.
• Experience with internationalization and multi-region deployments.
