Full Stack Developer Nest/Next (Contract)

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong technical expertise in Backend Development, particularly NestJS, to develop and maintain scalable applications using Microservices Architecture.

This role is Backend-focused (70%), with approximately 30% Frontend development using NextJS. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with NestJS, Microservices, Message Queue, Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js / NestJS.
• Develop and maintain systems based on Microservices Architecture.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and service-to-service integrations.
• Implement asynchronous and event-driven communication using Message Queue technologies.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain containerized applications using Docker.
• Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes (K8s) environments.
• Work with Cloud Systems to develop and operate scalable applications.
• Develop and maintain frontend applications using NextJS / React.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and services.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve application performance and system reliability.
• Collaborate with BA, QA, DevOps, and other technical teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in technical discussions, system design, code reviews, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in Full Stack Development with strong Backend expertise.
• Strong hands-on experience with NestJS / Node.js.
• Experience designing or developing Microservices Architecture.
• Strong understanding of API development and backend system design.
• Hands-on experience with Message Queue technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS/SNS, or equivalent.
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
• Experience with Kubernetes (K8s).
• Experience working with at least one Cloud Platform, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with NextJS / React.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Experience with databases and data management.
• Experience with Git and standard software development practices.
