Full-Stack Developer (Node.js / Next.js / Supabase) – Safety Management System - Seafair Miami

Own a system that keeps vessels compliant and crews safe.

Seafair Miami operates luxury yachts and event venues out of Florida. We're hiring one Full-Stack Developer to take sole ownership of our Safety Management System: the platform handling marine inspection packages, work orders, task turnover, and compliance workflows across our fleet.

This is not a ticket queue. You'll be the developer on this system, working under our Senior Developer's guidance, making architectural calls and shipping to production.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain the Safety Management System: work order lifecycles, inspection packages, compliance workflows
• Design and implement Postgres schemas with Row-Level Security in Supabase
• Build role-scoped permissions across Admin, Captain, and Crew user types
• Integrate third-party APIs and internal services
• Write clean, tested, maintainable code you'd be happy to hand off
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot in production
• Work closely with our Senior Developer on scope and architecture

What You Bring

✅ 3+ years building full-stack applications
✅ Strong TypeScript and JavaScript
✅ Production experience with Supabase or Postgres, including RLS
✅ Next.js and React in production
✅ Node.js backend development and API integration
✅ Comfort designing data models for complex business rules
✅ Independent problem-solver who unblocks themselves
✅ Clear, proactive communicator as it is essential on a remote team

Strong Plus

• Hands-on experience with Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted development tools in a professional workflow
• Familiarity with TanStack Query, React Hook Form, Zod, or Zustand
• Experience writing database and RLS tests

Please note: This role requires 40 tracked hours per week (Time Doctor) and daytime availability to overlap with your Senior Developer. Tasks are managed in Asana.
