Due to growing demand from financial services organisations for digital transformation, data transformation, intelligent automation, and AI-enabled solutions, we are expanding our engineering team and are looking for experienced Full-Stack Developers who can design and deliver enterprise grade applications using modern front-end, back-end, database, and AI technologies.

Role Description

• The Full-Stack Developer will design, develop, test, and deploy end-to-end applications across front-end and back-end technologies.
• Build responsive, scalable, secure, and user-focused web applications using React.js, Python, and Oracle Database.
• Develop and maintain robust back-end services, APIs, and microservices using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Build high-performance front-end applications using React.js, TypeScript, modern state management libraries, and reusable component patterns.
• Design and work with Oracle Database including schema design, data modelling, SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, and query optimisation.
• Ensure seamless integration between front-end, back-end, databases, and third-party services through well-designed APIs.
• Integrate modern AI and Generative AI capabilities such as LLM APIs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI agents into enterprise applications where appropriate. • Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve development productivity while validating generated code for security, maintainability, and correctness. • Build AI agents using Google Agent Development Kit (ADK) or equivalent agentic frameworks such as LangGraph or CrewAI.
• Develop comprehensive unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting automated build, testing, release, and deployment processes.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Designers, Developers, Architects, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, technical-design discussions, architectural decisions, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.
• Work within enterprise tooling environments including Git, Jira, Confluence, Docker, monitoring platforms, and security tooling.

Location

• The role will work closely with cross-functional and geographically distributed engineering and product teams.
• The candidate should be comfortable working within enterprise development environments and structured delivery processes.

Core Skills & Experience

• Minimum 4 years and maximum 8 years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
• Strong hands-on experience delivering production-grade applications across front-end, back end, API, and database layers.
• Strong experience with React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong experience with Python back-end development using FastAPI, Flask, Django, or equivalent frameworks.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Database, including SQL, PL/SQL, schema design, and data modelling.
• Experience integrating front-end applications with back-end services and enterprise systems. • Strong understanding of software engineering practices including modular design, reusable components, error handling, logging, testing, and code quality.
• Experience working with Git, pull requests, branching strategies, merge-conflict resolution, and collaborative code-review processes.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.

Front-End Development

• Strong understanding of React architecture including functional components, hooks, props, state, component lifecycle, and reusable component design.
• Experience with React Router, Vite, Material UI, Ant Design, or equivalent technologies. • Experience with state-management and data-fetching tools such as Redux Toolkit, Zustand, React Query, or equivalent frameworks.
• Working knowledge of TypeScript in React applications.
• Ability to build responsive and adaptive interfaces across devices and screen sizes. • Basic understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
• Awareness of front-end performance practices including lazy loading, code splitting, caching, and asset optimisation.

Back-End & Database Development

• Strong Python development experience using FastAPI, Flask, Django, or equivalent frameworks.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming in Python, including asyncio.
• Experience with third-party API integrations and data-processing workflows. • Strong working knowledge of Oracle Database including schema design, data modelling, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Experience developing queries, stored procedures, functions, and database logic. • Basic understanding of query optimisation, execution plans, indexing, and database performance.
• Awareness of enterprise data governance, privacy, security, and access-control standards. AI & GenAI Experience
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot or equivalent AI-assisted development tools is desirable.
• Ability to review and validate AI-generated code for correctness, security, maintainability, and compliance.
• Exposure to integrating LLM APIs such as Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, or equivalent models into applications.
• Understanding of prompt engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). • Exposure to LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or equivalent technologies.
• Experience or exposure to building AI agents using Google ADK, LangGraph, CrewAI, or equivalent agentic frameworks.
• Understanding of agentic patterns including tool usage, memory, planning, orchestration, workflow execution, and multi-agent collaboration.
• Awareness of enterprise AI guardrails, content safety, responsible AI, security, and data privacy requirements.

Delivery & Methodology

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum or similar iterative delivery models.
• Ability to translate functional requirements into technical designs, development tasks, and implementation plans.
• Experience participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, code reviews, testing, release planning, and production support.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle practices from design and development through testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Lightspeed, or equivalent technologies.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerisation concepts.
• Exposure to Kubernetes and Helm is desirable.
• Familiarity with artifact-management platforms such as Artifactory or Nexus. Nice-to-Have (Enterprise Tooling & Testing)
• Experience using Jira and Confluence for development tracking, collaboration, and documentation.
• Exposure to monitoring and observability platforms such as Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace, or equivalent tools.
• Awareness of secrets-management platforms such as HashiCorp Vault and broader enterprise security practices.
• Experience with back-end testing frameworks such as pytest or unittest.
• Experience with front-end testing frameworks such as Jest.
• Experience with end-to-end testing tools such as Playwright or Selenium. • Understanding of unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing practices.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive web applications using React.js and TypeScript. • Develop and maintain back-end services, APIs, and microservices using Python. • Design and maintain Oracle database schemas, queries, stored procedures, and supporting data structures.
• Integrate front-end, back-end, database, and third-party services through secure APIs. • Translate business and product requirements into technical solutions and implementation tasks.
• Develop reusable, maintainable, secure, and scalable application components. • Integrate GenAI, RAG, LLM APIs, and AI-agent capabilities into applications where required. • Build AI agents using Google ADK or equivalent agentic frameworks.
• Use GitHub Copilot or equivalent AI-assisted development tools responsibly to support software development.
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end automated tests.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and support automated deployments. • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices. • Monitor application performance, investigate production issues, and implement appropriate fixes.
• Participate in technical-design and architecture discussions.
• Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with Product, Design, Architecture, QA, and Engineering teams.
• Ensure applications meet enterprise standards for security, performance, reliability, data privacy, and maintainability.
• Stay current with emerging full-stack, cloud, AI, and GenAI technologies and identify opportunities to improve engineering practices.

Education

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
