Job Description: Full Stack Developer / Technical SME

Location: Bangalore (Remote)

Experience: 7-10 years

Job Summary We are looking for experienced Full Stack Developers / Technical SMEs with strong expertise in Java backend development, modern frontend technologies, microservices architecture, DevOps, and cloud platforms. The ideal candidates should be capable of designing scalable applications, developing secure APIs, optimizing application performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Development
• Design and develop high-performance, secure backend microservices using Java and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
• Build, maintain, and document RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures using Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Design database schemas, optimize complex queries, and manage RDBMS and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Frontend Development
• Develop responsive and modular user interfaces using React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Work with HTML5, CSS3/SASS, and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Implement state management solutions such as Redux and RxJS.
• Optimize UI/UX components for cross-browser compatibility and device responsiveness.
• DevOps, Cloud & Deployment
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Support cloud infrastructure, application deployment, and resource management.
• Testing & Quality Assurance
• Develop automated unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, Jest, and Cypress.
• Follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) practices.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and improve application performance and code quality.
• Collaboration & Architecture
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical design discussions.
• Identify performance bottlenecks, refactor legacy code, and resolve technical debt.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and maintainable software solutions.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Proficiency in at least one modern frontend framework: React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud deployment.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Redis.
• Familiarity with serverless architectures, microservices patterns, and service mesh tools.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and modern software development practices.
