Full Stack Developer(Mid-Level, Remote)

Role Description This is a remote, mid-level Full Stack Developer contract role. The Full Stack Developer will design, develop, and maintain web applications that power AI-based financial automation workflows, working across both front-end and back-end systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing user interfaces, building APIs and services, integrating AI components, writing clean and testable code, and troubleshooting issues across the stack. The role involves close collaboration with product, data, and AI teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions, as well as participating in code reviews and contributing to architectural decisions. The developer will also help improve performance, security, and reliability of the platform, and support continuous integration and deployment processes.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Full-Stack Development and Software Development, with experience building and shipping production web applications.
• Proficiency in Front-End Development, including modern JavaScript frameworks and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for responsive, accessible user interfaces.
• Experience in Back-End Web Development, including designing RESTful APIs, working with databases, and implementing secure, scalable services.
• Comfort with remote collaboration tools, version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, and to participate in code reviews constructively.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.
• Background in or exposure to AI/ML or financial technology is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
