Role Description

This is a full-time, onsite/hybrid role for a Full Stack Developer located in Helsinki. The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of web- and game-based applications. The role includes collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless user experiences and robust software solutions. Additional tasks include ensuring application performance, troubleshooting, and participating in code reviews to maintain quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in Front-End Development including proficiency in HTML, CSS, and responsive design
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, with familiarity in server-side languages and frameworks
• Expertise in Full-Stack Development, with the ability to work seamlessly across both front-end and back-end systems
• Strong foundation in Software Development principles and practices
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in aviation or educational technology is a plus

What you’ll do

• Build React UI flows and reusable components on Vite + Tailwind
• Design and implement NestJS APIs
• Develop features into a 2D/3D simulation platform
• Improve reliability with tests (Jest/Playwright) and monitoring (Sentry)

What we’re looking for

• Strong TypeScript across frontend and backend
• Experience with React, Node.js/NestJS, and SQL/Prisma
• Comfort with Docker and Kubernetes
• Product mindset and collaborative delivery
• Ability to work in a global team

Location

Company is based in Helsinki. Remote work is possible, but regular presence in Helsinki / Southern Finland will be required.

Term

Permanent, with probation period.
