Full - Stack Engineer 5 (Remote - Eligible)

For our client, we are seeking a Full - Stack Engineer 5 (Remote - Eligible) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will lead technology initiatives within a highly regulated environment, helping shape cloud-based solutions that support critical business needs. You will partner closely with product managers, architects, and engineering peers to deliver scalable systems from design through implementation. The position combines hands-on full-stack development with technical leadership, mentorship, and roadmap influence across modern cloud-native platforms.

You will also play a key role in driving high-performance architecture and guiding engineering best practices while staying current on emerging technologies.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $209,000 – $238,500 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead technology projects and a team focused on regulatory solutions
• Stay updated on tech trends and mentor engineering community members
• Collaborate with product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions
• Utilize various programming languages and technologies in projects
• Provide technical leadership and influence system architecture
• Drive design and implementation of high-performance cloud-native systems
• Define platform roadmaps in partnership with architects and product leaders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 6 years of software engineering experience
• 3 years of experience using public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience coding in at least two modern programming languages, including Go, Java, JavaScript, or Python
