Full-stack Engineer 5 - Shopping (Remote-Eligible)

For our client, we are seeking a Full-stack Engineer 5 - Shopping (Remote-Eligible) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will lead the design and delivery of scalable technology solutions that support regulated financial services and improve customer experiences. You will partner closely with architects, engineering peers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to shape platform direction and shared services. The position also calls for hands-on technical leadership across modern cloud and distributed systems, with an emphasis on reliability, architecture, and execution at scale.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $209,000 – $238,500 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead diverse technology projects and guide a team in developing regulatory solutions
• Stay current on technology trends and mentor the engineering community
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver cloud-based solutions that enhance customer experiences
• Use a range of programming languages and technologies to build and support solutions
• Provide technical leadership and influence system architecture decisions
• Design and implement large-scale, reliable distributed systems
• Partner with architects on platform roadmaps and shared services

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 6+ years of software engineering experience; internships do not count toward this requirement
• 3+ years of experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
