Position Summary:

Our partner is an AI-native digital agency that builds software to help clients improve products and automate operational work. They are seeking an Applied AI Full Stack Engineer who can build complete applications and use AI to solve practical business problems.

You’ll work directly with clients to understand how their teams operate, identify tasks that could be improved with AI, and build the solution across the frontend, backend, and connected systems. That might mean creating an agent, an internal tool, or an automated workflow, depending on the problem.

This calls for someone who has already built software and applied AI in real projects. You’ll choose the technical approach, test what the AI produces, and explain how the finished solution helps the client.

Experience and Education:

• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience/field.
• Experience building and delivering full stack applications, including frontend, backend, APIs, and data integration.
• Hands-on experience building an AI application, agent, or automated workflow using existing models.
• Proven experience of AI-assisted development tools, with careful review, testing, and correction of their output.
• A track record of connecting applications and workflows across systems through APIs.
• Direct collaboration with clients or nontechnical stakeholders to understand business problems and explain technical solutions.
• A background in changing environments where you’ve selected tools and architecture without a prescribed stack.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients to understand how a process works, where it slows down, and what improvement would matter.
• Identify opportunities to use AI in applications and operational workflows.
• Decide which parts of a process should be automated and which need human judgment.
• Design and build full stack solutions that connect user interfaces, backend services, data, and AI capabilities.
• Build applications, agents, tools, and workflows on top of existing AI models.
• Connect systems through APIs so information and actions move reliably across a workflow.
• Select languages, frameworks, models, and tools based on the problem being solved.
• Use AI-assisted development methods to plan, build, test, and review software.
• Evaluate AI output, investigate failures, and improve the quality of the resulting solution.
• Test, debug, and refine applications before and after delivery.
• Explain technical choices, results, and limitations to clients and their leadership teams.
