Full Stack Engineer – AI-Focused

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Engineer with hands-on AI engineering experience to design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable applications. The ideal candidate has strong programming fundamentals, experience building production-ready full stack applications, and practical knowledge of AI-assisted development and LLM-powered solutions.

The successful candidate should be comfortable owning features end-to-end, making technical decisions, and delivering high-quality solutions in an Agile environment

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications using Java, Python, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Build and optimize frontend applications using React, including routing, state management, and performance optimization.
• Develop REST and/or GraphQL APIs and integrate backend services.
• Design efficient database schemas and optimize SQL queries, indexing, and data models.
• Deploy and maintain production workloads using cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Implement scalable architectures using caching, load balancing, messaging, and event-driven systems.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes or similar technologies.
• Apply unit, integration, and contract testing to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Leverage AI development tools to improve engineering productivity, including Claude Code and its Skills, Agents, Hooks, and MCP capabilities.
• Develop and integrate AI-driven features using RAG architectures, LLM application frameworks, and agentic AI workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate technical trade-offs, and independently deliver features across sprints and releases.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Proven experience developing and delivering full stack applications in a professional software development environment.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and SQL fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Claude Code, including Skills, Agents, Hooks, MCP, and Context Engineering.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure or GCP.
• Knowledge of REST/GraphQL APIs, database optimization, Git, testing, and software deployment practices.
• Practical exposure to Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and at least one LLM application framework, such as LangChain, LangGraph, Google GenAI tools, or similar.
• Exposure to agentic or multi-agent AI systems, including tool use, memory, and workflow orchestration.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and independent delivery skills.
• Willingness to work onsite in BGC, Taguig City, under a 3-month contract and a shifting schedule as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Knowledge of scalable system architecture, performance tuning, concurrency, and fault-tolerant systems.
• Understanding of application security, authentication protocols, and secure coding practices.
• Experience mentoring developers or leading a small engineering team.
