Your first 12 weeks

You'll start with training in FDM's Skills Lab, building the technical foundations used by modern software engineering teams.

You'll get hands-on with object-oriented programming, Java, Spring Boot, React, Python, JavaScript, Git, SQL, cloud platforms, AI integrations, and more. You'll learn how software is designed, built, tested, improved, and supported in real business environments.

By the time you step onto your first client assignment, you'll have practical skills employers ask for, and the confidence to use them on real project work.

After training

We match you to a client opportunity that fits your strengths, your interests, and where you want your career to head.

You'll join a client team, contribute to live work, and keep learning on the job.

About You

What we look for:

• You hold a university degree level (bachelor or higher, preferably STEM background)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field is a plus
• Able to commit to completing our full 2.5-year graduate programme
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication in English and Mandarin
• Eligibility to work in China
• Determination and drive: this means going the extra mile to succeed as an IT Consultant
• Able to relocate to Guangzhou. FDM will support you with a relocation package and connect you to other FDM Consultants.
