Full Stack Engineer

A large healthcare organization is hiring two mid-level Full Stack Engineers to join a distributed technology team supporting an enterprise application used internally across the business.

This is a hands-on software engineering position for developers who enjoy writing production code and working across application layers. The environment is centered around Java, Python, and cloud technologies, with Google Cloud Platform as the preferred cloud ecosystem.

The right candidate will bring strong backend engineering skills while also being comfortable contributing across APIs, cloud services, and modern frontend technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and enhance enterprise application features.
• Build backend services using Java and modern Java frameworks.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and reusable services.
• Use Python for application and supporting engineering use cases.
• Contribute to frontend application development as needed.
• Build and support applications running in public-cloud environments.
• Participate in testing, debugging, deployment, and production-readiness activities.
• Collaborate with distributed engineering teams across the United States and offshore locations.

Role Requirements

• Professional hands-on software-development experience.
• Strong Java development skills.
• Experience working with Python in a production-development environment.
• Full-stack or broad enterprise application-development experience.
• Experience building APIs, services, or distributed applications.
• Experience with at least one major public-cloud platform.
• Ability to work effectively with geographically distributed engineering teams.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work EST or CST hours.
