About the Role

As a Full Stack Java Developer, you'll play a key role throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from gathering business requirements through to deployment and ongoing support. You'll collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects, and agile delivery teams to build scalable, modern solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

✔ Collaborating with subject matter experts to understand and translate business requirements

✔ Analysing existing systems, processes, and user needs to identify improvement opportunities

✔ Designing and developing robust applications and microservices using modern Java technologies

✔ Building and maintaining scalable backend services and Angular-based front-end applications

✔ Supporting and enhancing existing microservices across multiple business divisions

✔ Creating automated unit, integration, system, and performance tests

✔ Participating in Agile ceremonies and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

✔ Managing releases, deployments, and change processes

✔ Maintaining clear technical documentation and ensuring compliance with governance and audit requirements

✔ Working closely with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and business acceptance

✔ Identifying risks, resolving issues, and acting as a champion for best practices and innovation

Essential Skills & Experience

✅ Bachelor's Degree in IT or a related discipline

✅ 10+ years of hands-on Java development experience

✅ Strong experience with:

• Java
• Spring Framework
• Spring Boot
• JPA
• Hibernate

✅ Proven experience developing and maintaining automated unit and integration tests

✅ Strong Git experience, including:

• Branching strategies
• Pull/Merge Requests
• Code Reviews

✅ Experience working with:

• SQL
• Relational Databases
• XML
• JSON
• YAML

✅ Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software engineering using tools such as:

• GitHub Copilot
• Claude Code
• Codex

(Must include agent-driven code implementation or modification, not just code completion.)

✅ Front-end development experience with:

• Angular
• TypeScript
• JavaScript

✅ Advanced English communication skills (C1 level)
