Full Stack Engineer

We're supporting a FTSE 100 organisation on the appointment of an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join a major technology programme based in West London .

This is an initial 6-month contract , operating Inside IR35 , with over two years of work already in the pipeline , offering exceptional long-term programme stability and the opportunity to work on business-critical initiatives at enterprise scale.

The successful candidate will combine hands-on engineering expertise with strong stakeholder engagement skills, working closely with senior business and technology leaders across multiple functions.

The Opportunity

You'll be responsible for designing, developing, deploying and supporting modern cloud-based applications within a large-scale enterprise environment. Working as part of a cross-functional team, you'll collaborate with architects, product owners, engineering teams and senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that drive business value.

This role requires someone who can comfortably navigate complex corporate structures, build credibility with senior stakeholders and operate effectively within large, matrixed organisations.

Key Skills & Experience

Essential

• Strong commercial experience with TypeScript
• Advanced React development experience
• Strong backend development experience using Python
• Proven experience building APIs with FastAPI
• Hands-on experience with AWS
• Experience deploying applications into production environments
• Strong understanding of cloud-native application development
• Experience working within Agile delivery teams
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working across multiple teams within a complex organisation

Preferred

• Experience working within FTSE 100 , enterprise-scale or highly regulated organisations
• Proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders
• Experience navigating large corporate environments and governance structures
• Knowledge of modern software engineering best practices, CI/CD and DevOps principles
• Experience delivering solutions across business and technology functions

• Role: Full Stack Engineer
• Location: West London (2 days a week initially)
• Rate: £650 - £750 per day
• IR35: Inside IR35
• Contract Length: Initial 6 months
