Role Overview

NKU Technologies is looking for a Full Stack Developer (Databricks) with strong experience in modern web development and data engineering. The ideal candidate will build data-driven applications using the Databricks Lakehouse Platform, working across data pipelines, APIs, backend services, and responsive frontend interfaces.

The role involves collaborating with data engineers, ML engineers, and product teams to deliver scalable, client-facing and internal solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, Spark SQL, and Delta Lake.
• Implement Bronze, Silver, and Gold data architecture patterns.
• Develop RESTful or GraphQL APIs using Python/FastAPI, Node.js, or Java/Spring.
• Build and integrate Databricks Apps, SQL Warehouses, Unity Catalog, REST APIs, and SDKs.
• Manage job orchestration using Databricks Workflows and deployments using Databricks Asset Bundles.
• Develop responsive web applications and dashboards using React/Angular/Vue and TypeScript.
• Convert analytics, data, and AI outputs into user-friendly business applications.
• Develop clean, tested, documented, and maintainable code.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
• Apply security, governance, and access-control best practices using Unity Catalog.
• Optimize Spark jobs and SQL queries for performance and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and estimate development efforts.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4–5 years of professional full-stack development experience.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Good working knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with React or another modern frontend framework.
• Strong experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD practices.
• Understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English and ability to work with distributed teams.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Databricks certification such as Data Engineer Associate/Professional or Generative AI Engineer Associate.
• Experience with Unity Catalog, Delta Live Tables (Lakeflow), and Databricks SQL Dashboards.
• Exposure to MLflow, Mosaic AI, Model Serving, GenAI, or RAG applications.
• Experience with Structured Streaming, Kafka, or Event Hubs.
• Knowledge of Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience integrating ERP/CRM systems such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, or Dynamics with data platforms.
• Previous experience in consulting or client-facing projects.

Pay: From Rs150,000.00 per month
