Full Stack Engineer – Financial Technology

Berwyn, PA | Hybrid: 4 days onsite per week | Contract-to-Hire

We’re hiring Full Stack Engineers to join a growing financial technology engineering organization supporting a large-scale Managed Accounts Platform. This team is expanding to support continued business growth, new client integrations, product development, and significant modernization initiatives. While this is a Full Stack position, the work is heavily focused on backend development, databases, and ETL (approximately 70%), with additional front-end development responsibilities.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and enhance enterprise applications using Java, Oracle, SQL, and stored procedures.
• Build and support ETL processes and integrations that handle complex financial and investment data.
• Develop and tune Oracle stored procedures and SQL queries to improve application and database performance.
• Contribute to front-end development and enhancements using JSP, Angular, React, or similar technologies.
• Participate in modernization efforts involving Java upgrades, Oracle modernization, Python, automation, AI-assisted development, and legacy application transformation.
• Partner with Product, QA, Business Analysts, Scrum Leads, and other engineers in an Agile pod environment.
• Support integrations involving financial data such as securities, holdings, positions, pricing, tax lots, and performance data.
• Help expand platform capabilities for existing clients while developing new products, services, and integrations.

What We’re Looking For

• 3-5 years of software engineering or Full Stack development experience.
• Strong development experience with Java.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle and SQL.
• Experience developing and/or tuning stored procedures.
• Experience with ETL development, scripting, or data integration.
• Experience with Python, Perl, JavaScript, or similar scripting languages.
• Front-end experience with JSP, Angular, React, or comparable technologies.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience working with enterprise applications.

Nice to Have

• Financial services or investment management technology experience.
• Knowledge of equities, fixed income, securities, holdings, positions, tax lots, pricing, performance, or custodian data.
• Experience with Bloomberg, ICE, Snowflake, or similar financial/data platforms.
• Exposure to application modernization or legacy transformation initiatives.
• Experience using AI development tools, AI-assisted coding, or building personal/professional AI projects.
