About the role

Build and ship AI-powered tools that improve internal workflow efficiency, customer experiences, and other areas of the business. You will apply and fine-tune foundation models, leverage ML/DL techniques to solve complex business problems, and take use cases from idea to production—delivering measurable impact, reliability, and the secure handling of sensitive data.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, fine-tune, and deploy AI/ML models for real-world business use cases e.g. demand forecasting and manpower planning.
• Own the end-to-end ML lifecycle — from data preparation, model development, and fine-tuning, through to building production-ready tools and deploying to scalable infrastructure.
• Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) from approved knowledge sources to reduce hallucinations and improve accuracy.
• Build evaluation and monitoring for quality, latency, and cost; iterate quickly based on real usage.
• Implement security/privacy patterns: role-based access, PII redaction, audit logs, and data retention (PDPA-aware).
• Collaborate with product teams to develop and ship product features, contributing across the full development lifecycle as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in software/ML engineering with a proven track record of production delivery.
• Strong Engineering Foundation: Demonstrated programming experience in Python, Go, or similar languages, with strong proficiency in SQL.
• AI & ML Expertise: A strong background in foundation ML and AI, with hands-on experience building production-grade AI systems using Generative AI frameworks and libraries in real-world business environments.
• Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
• Communication Skills: Ability to clearly articulate ideas and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Agentic Frameworks & Architecture: Proven expertise in building agentic AI systems using frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI), with a strong grasp of implementing architectural guardrails and safety layers for complex enterprise tasks.
