🚀 We're Hiring: Full-Stack Engineer – Mobile (iOS-Focused)

We're looking for a hands-on Full-Stack Engineer to join a growing consumer technology platform focused on nightlife discovery, events, and venue experiences.

This is a unique opportunity to become the company's first in-house engineer, working directly with the founder and taking ownership of both the mobile application and backend infrastructure. You'll play a key role in shaping the product roadmap, improving platform reliability, and building new features used by thousands of consumers.

📍 Location

Remote (Mexico-based candidates supporting U.S. clients)

⏰ Schedule:

Part-Time | 30 Hours per Week

Monday to Friday | 10:00 am – 5:00 pm MST

🎯 Role Overview

As a Full-Stack Engineer, you'll work across mobile, backend, and cloud systems, helping maintain and expand an existing production application while contributing to the next phase of platform growth.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working within an established codebase, troubleshooting issues independently, improving performance, and building new features from concept to production.

📋 Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain consumer-facing features using React Native and Expo.
• Deliver polished user experiences with strong attention to UI/UX quality and design consistency.
• Build, test, and deploy new functionality within the live application.
• Maintain and enhance the existing PHP backend and application infrastructure.
• Integrate APIs, cloud services, and third-party tools.
• Support long-term migration efforts toward a modern PostgreSQL-based architecture.
• Understand and work within the existing production codebase.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve application performance and reliability.
• Collaborate directly with the founder to turn product priorities into scalable, well-designed solutions.

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Strong React Native experience (required)
• Experience building and maintaining mobile applications in production environments
• PHP experience, particularly in existing or legacy backend environments
• Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL databases, and AWS
• Strong understanding of API integrations and full-stack architecture
• Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and work directly within existing codebases
• Strong attention to UI/UX and front-end quality
• Native iOS development experience
• Experience working on consumer mobile applications
• Experience deploying and maintaining consumer-facing applications
• Comfortable working independently and making technical decisions

💰 Compensation:

28,500 – 36,000 MXN + benefits (Contractor)
