Full Stack Engineer (Python/React)

I have just partnered with an Energy and Utilities business that is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer (Python/React) who wants to transform the heat pump industry.

Their priority is to decarbonise buildings in the UK and become the first Clean Tech business to achieve low carbon heating at this scale. They are already at the forefront of this space and just need someone to come in and take the ownership of their engineering platform.

The energy space is one of the fastest growing industries in the UK and it sits in the top 3 most invested into so this is the right place to be for years to come.

They have a successful team with tons of strong leadership, but with the influx of projects coming in, someone that has experience on the full stack, mainly in Python and React, is going to prove important before the start of the New Year.

Tech Stack: Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, React, Typescript, PostgreSQL

What They Are Looking For:

• Experience across full stack, mainly in Python and React with hopefully exposure to frameworks like FastAPI on backend
• Understanding of working end to end and taking ownership of projects - being able to ideate fast is key
• Exposure to or interest in the GreenTech sector is a huge bonus from product perspective
• Dealing with stakeholders both technical and non-technical as the role will be overseeing the business as a whole
• Experience dealing with API design, database management and embracing testing and automation is important

Office Stance: The role is flexible in their office approach but mostly looking at 1/2 days max in London a week - as such there is no VISA sponsorship or relocation available

Salary: Up to £60-70k + benefits (they are looking to add a bonus soon)

They are looking to bring on developers fast so ideally looking quicker than 2/3 notice periods with 1 month max.
