Full-stack Engineer – Senior

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full-stack Engineer who can design, build and maintain secure, scalable and production-grade enterprise applications.

The role requires strong hands-on capability across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, integrations and cloud deployment, along with the ability to take technical ownership, maintain engineering standards and support the complete software-development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain secure, scalable web applications and enterprise platforms.
• Lead both frontend and backend application development.
• Design and build robust APIs, workflow engines and enterprise integrations.
• Develop reusable, maintainable and well-structured application components.
• Design and implement role-based access control, authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Build appropriate audit trails, activity logging and system-monitoring capabilities.
• Integrate applications with internal systems, third-party platforms, APIs and databases.
• Support cloud deployment, configuration, release management and production stabilisation.
• Participate in solution architecture and technical-design discussions.
• Review code and ensure adherence to defined engineering and security standards.
• Identify and resolve application-performance, scalability and reliability issues.
• Work closely with Product, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure and business teams during development and deployment.
• Translate functional requirements into technically feasible and scalable solutions.
• Support defect resolution, production issues and continuous product improvement.
• Mentor engineers where required and contribute to improving engineering practices across the team.
• Maintain appropriate technical documentation for applications, APIs, integrations and deployments.

Required Experience

• 5–8 years of relevant full-stack software-development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in developing production-grade web applications.
• Strong experience in both frontend and backend development.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs and system integrations.
• Strong understanding of databases, application architecture and software-development principles.
• Experience implementing authentication, authorization and role-based access controls.
• Experience with source control, code reviews and structured development practices.
• Experience deploying and supporting applications in cloud or production environments.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving and root-cause-analysis capability.
• Ability to independently understand requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Experience working within cross-functional product and engineering teams.

Preferred Capabilities

• Experience building enterprise workflow or process-management applications.
• Experience integrating applications with multiple enterprise systems and third-party services.
• Understanding of application security, auditability and data-protection requirements.
• Exposure to CI/CD, containerisation and modern cloud-development practices.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum or similar software-development environments.
• Strong documentation and technical-communication skills.
