Full Stack Engineer/Programmer

One of our leading technology clients is looking for Full Stack Programmer. Please refer to details below:

Nature of role- 12 months contract

Nature of work- Onsite

Role is open for only Singapore citizens and PRs due to client requirements.

You will be in charge of building new and integrating existing applications for internal use in client, helping multiple teams streamline their work. Client has multiple internal tools and developing a solution which aggregates information between them is part of the work.

Responsibilities

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, operations, infrastructure) to build innovative application experiences

● Implement custom user interfaces using latest programming techniques and technologies

● Analyze and optimize code for quality, efficiency, and performance, and provide feedback to peers during code reviews

● Architect efficient and scalable systems that drive complex applications

● Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues, and drive large efforts to reduce technical debt

● Work on a variety of coding languages and technologies

● Establish ownership of components, features, or systems with expert end-to-end understanding.

Required experience: ● At least 7 years of deep experience building general software / web systems at a large-scale or similar experience

● Expertise in Python (3.x) -> Expertise in Python or equivalent OOP stack such as Java, Go, PHP, Node, etc.

● Proficiency in Frontend programming stack, preferably with ReactJS or NextJS. TS would be a plus. ● Solid verbal and written communication skills ● Proficiency with HTTP(s) protocol and RESTful specifications ● Experience leading major initiatives successfully ● Experience leading projects and teams accordingly ● Experience building and shipping high quality work and achieving high reliability ● Experience improving quality through thoughtful code reviews, appropriate testing, proper rollout, monitoring, and proactive changes

● Experienced in utilizing data and analysis to explain technical problems and providing detailed feedback and solutions.

Preferred qualifications : ● Proficiency in Python ● Proficiency in Robotics & Automation (including AMRs, ASRS, Warehouse Control System) ● GraphQL, NextJS, Redis, RDBMS experience ● Tracking, Data Analytics experience such as GA, GTM ● Proficient in HTML5 / CSS3 / ECMAScript 6 + / TypeScript;

Top 3 non-negotiable must skills :

At least 8 years of software development with a strong expertise in any back end language which works with OOP (Object-oriented Programming). Backend development experience - OOP - Python, Java, Kotlin, Shell development; Python is a preference but not a must if there is experience in similar stack. Any robotics software experience would be highly desirable

Experience in development and not maintenance with Big Tech / large multinational technology/engineering-oriented companies
