Full-Stack Java Developer (Mid–Senior)

We are looking for a Full-Stack Java Developer (Mid–Senior) to join the Java Factory team at BRINEL , working across a diverse portfolio of technical projects including new application development, application modernization and migrations, maintenance and enhancements, technical upgrades, architecture improvements, and the continuous improvement of development processes, workflows, and tools .

What you’ll work with

Core stack & tools: Java • Spring Boot • Angular / React • REST APIs • SQL / NoSQL • GitLab • Jira • Confluence • Figma • Kibana

Depending on the project, you may also work with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka / ActiveMQ, and

other cloud and DevOps technologies .

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java / Spring Boot and Angular
• Build and integrate REST APIs
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Write maintainable, testable code and participate in code reviews
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Development, QA, Business Analysis, UI/UX, Product
• Contribute to technical decisions, documentation, and continuous improvement

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years of software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Practical frontend experience with Angular
• Good understanding of REST, HTTP and API integration
• Experience with SQL databases ; NoSQL experience is a plus
• Experience working with Git and Agile teams
• Good English skills for an international working environment
• Ability to work autonomously, take ownership, and collaborate effectively

You’ll be part of an international and multicultural setup, collaborating across technical and functional teams.

We’re looking for someone who is proactive and solution-oriented - comfortable taking ownership, asking questions when requirements are unclear, and proposing improvements rather than simply implementing tasks.

The position is open to candidates based in Romania . Our working model is hybrid and predominantly remote . Being based in Bucharest is an advantage; candidates from other locations should be available to travel to the Bucharest office when needed.
