Full Stack Laravel & IoT Integration Developer

Job Profile

We are looking for a technically strong Laravel Developer with Hardware/IoT Integration experience who can develop complete software applications and integrate them with various field devices such as RFID Readers, Biometric Devices, Boom Barriers, Flap Barriers, QR scanners, cameras, weighing systems, and access-control equipment.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, testing, deploying, and maintaining web-based applications and hardware communication modules.

Key Responsibilities

1. Laravel Application Development

• Develop robust web applications using PHP, Laravel, MySQL.
• Develop REST APIs for web, mobile, and hardware communication.
• Design database architecture and optimize MySQL queries.
• Develop admin panels, dashboards, reports, user management, and role-based access.
• Implement authentication, authorization, security, and API integrations.
• Debug and maintain existing Laravel applications.

2. RFID & Hardware Integration

• Integrate UHF RFID readers with software applications.
• Communicate with RFID readers through TCP/IP, HTTP, REST API, SDK, Serial/RS232/RS485, as applicable.
• Capture RFID tag data and process it in real time.
• Develop vehicle/person identification and tracking workflows.
• Integrate RFID readers with gates, barriers, weighbridges, and checkposts.

3. Biometric Device Integration

• Integrate biometric attendance/access-control devices.
• Work with device SDKs/APIs and protocols.
• Retrieve attendance/access logs from biometric devices.
• Synchronize device data with the central Laravel application.
• Handle device configuration, user synchronization, and real-time events where supported.

4. Boom Barrier / Access Control

• Integrate automatic boom barriers with software systems.
• Develop logic for opening/closing barriers based on RFID, biometric, QR, or other authorization.
• Interface with barrier controllers through TCP/IP, relay, RS232/RS485 or vendor SDK/API.
• Implement entry/exit logging and barrier status monitoring.
• Handle failure scenarios and manual override conditions.

5. IoT & Device Communication

• Develop applications that communicate with field devices over LAN/WAN.
• Understand TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, WebSocket, MQTT, REST API, RS232/RS485.
• Develop device gateway/service applications where required.
• Troubleshoot communication problems between software and hardware.
• Work with third-party SDKs and APIs.

6. Project Deployment & Support

• Deploy applications on Linux/Ubuntu servers, Apache/Nginx.
• Configure PHP, Laravel, MySQL and required services.
• Support applications installed at customer sites.
• Perform testing and troubleshooting at site.
• Coordinate with hardware vendors and installation teams.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should be able to take a requirement such as:

RFID Reader → Laravel Application → Database → Authorization → Boom Barrier → Entry/Exit Record → Dashboard/Report

and independently develop the complete software integration.

They should also be comfortable visiting a customer site, connecting with hardware vendors, checking device communication, reading SDK/API documentation, and troubleshooting issues.

Experience

Experience: 2–5 years preferred

However, candidates with strong Laravel development skills and practical hardware integration experience can also be considered.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
