Full Stack .NET Developer, Payments Platform

Project overview: The Payments Platform supports payment and treasury related processes for a global investment management business. The project focuses on enhancing core platform capabilities and supporting ongoing delivery within a hybrid consulting setup.

Position overview: We are looking for a Full Stack .NET Developer with Angular to support the ongoing development of a payments and treasury platform. Key responsibilities include solution design, implementation, release activities, and production support in close collaboration with a distributed development team. Ability to work onsite at the New York City office at least 3 days per week is required.

The estimated salary range for this position is USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year.

Responsibilities: Contribute to solution design for payments and treasury platform enhancements

Develop features using .NET and Angular technologies

Manage production releases for platform updates

Provide developer support for bug fixes

Prepare ad hoc reporting as needed

Collaborate with the development team in New York City

Work with Business Analysts to understand business requirements

Requirements: At least 5 years of hands on experience with .NET Framework or .NET Core

Experience with C# and ASP.NET

Strong front end development experience with Angular

Experience with relational databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server

Strong SQL skills

Experience building RESTful API services

Understanding of object oriented design and design patterns

Experience with software development best practices

Experience in unit testing

Experience with Agile processes

Experience with mocking, refactoring, process communication, and code versioning with Git

Ability to discuss and understand business requirements provided by Business Analysts

Willingness to work with Java based services and MEAN stack applications and services

Ability to adapt to the dynamics and changes of financial software projects

Nice to have: Working knowledge of Azure DevOps

Knowledge of MuleSoft

Experience with SWIFT, payment, or treasury systems
