Full-Stack Product Engineer — Automation

About The Role We are looking for a senior full-stack product engineer who can work directly with business and domain experts to turn operational problems into production-ready software.

You will be expected to understand the problem, ask the right questions, challenge

assumptions, propose solutions, and own delivery from idea through production.

A major focus of the role will be building automation across accounting, restaurant operations,

and practice-management workflows. The work may begin as a specific automation, but your

responsibility is to think beyond the immediate request: identify reusable patterns, reduce

manual work, and help turn successful workflows into scalable product capabilities.

What You'll Do

• Work directly with business, accounting, and operations teams to understand problems

and define practical solutions.

• Build full-stack product features and automations across frontend, backend, APIs,

integrations, and data workflows.

• Take loosely defined business needs and turn them into clear, testable, production-ready

implementations.

• Ask questions early when requirements are incomplete, contradictory, or unclear.
• Identify when a one-off automation should become a reusable product or platform

capability.

• Integrate with external systems such as accounting, payroll, POS, and other business

platforms.

• Design for real production conditions, including incomplete data, failure states,

permissions, retries, observability, and supportability.

• Own testing, deployment, validation, and follow-through after release.
• Use AI-assisted development tools aggressively and responsibly to increase engineering

velocity.

• Participate in architecture and technical design decisions across the broader product.
• Collaborate with engineers across the US, Latin America, and India.

What we're looking for

• Strong professional experience building production full-stack applications.
• Strong backend engineering skills and comfort working across the frontend when

needed.

• Experience designing and consuming APIs and integrating external systems.
• Strong SQL and relational-data fundamentals.
• Ability to operate effectively with ambiguity and incomplete requirements.
• Strong product judgment: you care whether something solves the user's problem, not

simply whether the code matches a ticket.

• Comfortable communicating directly with non-technical stakeholders and domain

experts.

• Able to independently investigate problems, make reasonable decisions, and escalate

only when necessary.

• Strong debugging and production problem-solving skills.
• Experience with modern cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
• Fluency with AI-assisted software development workflows.

Especially valuable

• Experience with workflow automation or agentic systems.
• Accounting, fintech, restaurant-tech, or practice-management experience.
• Experience integrating systems such as QuickBooks Online, payroll platforms, POS

systems, or financial APIs.

• Experience with Python, TypeScript/Node.js, PostgreSQL, AWS, or similar technologies.
• Experience building internal platforms or turning one-off solutions into reusable

capabilities.
