Full-Stack Programmer

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and motivated Omani Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our technical team on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will contribute to the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of web applications, digital platforms, and innovative technology solutions. This position involves working across both Front-End and Back-End development and collaborating with the technical team on R&D and product-development projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve responsive web applications and digital platforms.
• Build intuitive, user-friendly, and responsive Front-End interfaces.
• Develop and maintain Back-End services, APIs, and databases.
• Integrate Front-End applications with Back-End services and third-party APIs.
• Design, develop, and manage efficient database solutions.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues and bugs.
• Write clean, secure, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Optimize applications for performance, security, reliability, and scalability.
• Participate in software testing, debugging, deployment, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with the technical team to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation, source code, and version-control records.
• Contribute to the development of new digital products and innovative technology solutions.

Technical Skills

Candidates should have experience with, or a strong understanding of, several of the following:

• Programming Languages: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, PHP, or comparable languages.
• Front-End Development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks or libraries such as React, React Native, or equivalent technologies.
• Back-End Development: Web applications, server-side programming, APIs, and Back-End services using relevant frameworks and technologies.
• API Development: RESTful API design, development, integration, and consumption.
• Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or other relational and non-relational database systems.
• Software Engineering: Object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, debugging, and testing.
• Version Control: Git, GitHub, and collaborative software-development workflows.
• Software Architecture: An understanding of microservices, service-oriented architecture, or other distributed application architectures.

Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, message queues, caching, and modern deployment practices will be considered an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Practical experience developing complete web-based applications.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a technical team.
• Good communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and project priorities.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and contribute to R&D and innovative projects.
• Experience or interest in AI, IoT, robotics, UAV/drone systems, or digital transformation is an advantage.

• Available for full-time, on-site employment at Innovation Park Muscat.

Notice: The position includes a three-month probationary period.

Pay: RO1.000 - RO2.000 per month
