Full-Stack Python Engineer (Mid-Level)

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver backend services and product features using Python and AWS serverless technologies (Lambda), with clean GraphQL API integrations.
• Participate in frontend development using React, MUI, and high-fidelity Figma designs to create intuitive and responsive user experiences.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to refine requirements, contribute to user stories, and support feature planning.
• Develop, consume, and integrate GraphQL APIs that power dynamic content and product functionality across the platform.
• Contribute to AI-powered features and intelligent automation initiatives, while applying sound judgment when working with AI-assisted solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while following established engineering best practices, including BDD/TDD where applicable.
• Work within a fully automated CI/CD environment using CircleCI and GitHub Actions.
• Help shape and enhance our design system while contributing to a scalable, component-based UI foundation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-stack development experience, with a focus on Python and React
• Strong testing and clean coding mindset (BDD, TDD, SOLID principles).
• DevOps-aware mindset, including experience working with CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI, GitHub Actions).
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams on product features, requirements, planning, and delivery.
• Experience supporting applications in production environments, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Solid testing and verification mindset, with a focus on delivering reliable, high-quality software.
• Experience building and supporting distributed systems, including integrations with third-party services and designing for reliability and resilience is a plus.
• Experience using AI-powered development tools is a plus.
