Full Stack Senior Software Engineer

Senior / Staff Software Engineer | AI-Native Fintech | Up to $250k + Equity

• AI-native fintech modernising complex financial operations
• Small engineering team with significant technical ownership
• New York City | 3 days onsite
• Up to $250,000 base + equity

You’ll join a small engineering team with genuine influence over product, architecture and engineering decisions.

You’ll work closely with the people closest to the problems, figure out what needs building and take ownership from initial idea through to production.

What you’ll work on:

• Own complex product features from initial concept through to production
• Build across backend systems and customer-facing applications
• Develop AI-powered features, agents and automation workflows
• Make architectural decisions across business-critical financial systems
• Help shape product and technical direction as the company grows

Tech: Python, TypeScript, React, cloud infrastructure and AI tooling.

You’ll need:

• Strong software engineering and computer science fundamentals
• Experience building products in startups
• Experience solving large-scale or technically complex problems
• Comfort working across backend and customer-facing applications
• Experience with fintech, payments, investments or systems handling money
• Evidence of owning products, systems and technical decisions
• Strong product judgement and comfort with ambiguity
• Regular use of AI coding tools in your workflow

Level:

• Senior: 8+ years
• Staff: 12+ years

Experience building AI-native products with real production usage is a plus.
