We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Shopify Developer to build, customize, optimize, and maintain high-quality Shopify eCommerce stores.

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Shopify Developer with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Shopify development, theme customization, app integrations, and front-end technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus eCommerce stores.

· Build custom Shopify themes, sections, templates, and storefront features using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON.

· Develop and customize Shopify apps, integrations, and third-party applications.

· Work with Shopify APIs, webhooks, and GraphQL/REST APIs to integrate external services and business systems.

· Customize product pages, collection pages, cart, and other storefront components within Shopify’s supported capabilities.

· Integrate payment gateways, shipping providers, inventory systems, CRM platforms, and marketing tools.

· Optimize website speed, performance, mobile responsiveness, SEO, and user experience.

· Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve bugs efficiently.

· Collaborate with UI/UX designers, project managers, QA teams, and other developers.

· Understand client requirements, provide technical recommendations, and communicate project progress clearly.

· Participate in client calls, requirement discussions, technical consultations, and project handovers.

· Follow coding standards, maintain documentation, and ensure timely project delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

· Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Shopify development.

· Strong experience with Shopify themes, Liquid, theme architecture, and Shopify customization.

· Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web development.

· Experience with Shopify CLI, Git, theme development workflows, and version control.

· Hands-on experience with Shopify APIs, third-party integrations, and app configuration.

· Working knowledge of GraphQL, REST APIs, JSON, and webhooks.

· Understanding of eCommerce workflows, including products, variants, collections, discounts, shipping, and payments.

· Experience with performance optimization, technical SEO, and cross-browser compatibility.

· Ability to debug issues independently and deliver clean, maintainable code.

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Communication and Client Management Skills

· Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. These are mandatory for this role.

· Ability to communicate directly with domestic and international clients.

· Confidence in leading client calls and explaining technical concepts in simple language.

· Ability to understand requirements, ask relevant questions, and clarify project scope.

· Professional email writing, reporting, and status-update skills.

· Ability to manage expectations, discuss technical limitations, and suggest suitable solutions.

· Comfortable working with project managers, designers, developers, and clients across different time zones.

Good to Have

· Experience with Shopify Plus and Shopify app development.

· Knowledge of React, Next.js, Node.js, or other modern JavaScript frameworks.

· Experience with Shopify Hydrogen or headless commerce.

· Familiarity with checkout extensibility, Shopify Functions, and custom storefront integrations.

· Experience with subscriptions, marketplaces, ERP integrations, and advanced eCommerce functionality.

· Experience working in an agency or client-service environment.

Salary and Benefits

· Salary: ₹5 LPA to ₹10 LPA, based on technical expertise and communication skills.

· Higher compensation may be considered for candidates with strong Shopify app development, Shopify Plus, and client-facing experience.
