Full Stack Software Developer (1-year contract)

Our client is a globally recognised technology company looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer to support its business support engineering team in developing and maintaining products used by global telecom and mobile operator partners. This role combines technical troubleshooting, bug fixes, and full-stack development to improve product performance, resolve partner issues, and enhance operational efficiency.

This is a 12-months contract tenure.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, support tickets, and software bugs raised by global partners.
• Develop, test, and deploy full-stack enhancements, including front-end interfaces, APIs, and backend systems.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and operations teams to define requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Build and maintain tools, automated workflows, data pipelines, and dashboards to improve support efficiency.
• Develop and maintain APIs and integrations connecting backend systems with product interfaces.
• Prepare and communicate technical design proposals, ensuring solutions meet quality standards and project timelines.
• Monitor issue backlogs and drive timely resolution of technical problems.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of software development experience, with hands-on experience across the full software development lifecycle.
• Strong full-stack development skills, particularly in JavaScript, ReactJS, PHP/Hack, and GraphQL .
• Foundational knowledge of SQL and experience working with databases and data handling.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git and delivering projects in a collaborative engineering environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work across cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues and deliver reliable solutions within agreed timelines.

Good to Have

• Experience with Python, C++, Spark, data pipelines, or dashboard development.
• Familiarity with Angular, Vue, or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience developing automation tools, enterprise applications, or scalable backend systems.
• Personal software projects or a GitHub portfolio demonstrating practical development skills.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
