Full Stack Software Developer (React/TypeScript + Python/Node.js)

We’re looking for a Full Stack Software Developer (React/TypeScript + Python/Node.js) to help our client build reliable clinical software and shape the next generation of AI-powered engineering workflows.

You’ll join our client’s engineering team and work closely with their product and development teams as a dedicated Full Stack Software Developer. Our client is a global leader in genomics and DNA sequencing, helping enable breakthroughs in healthcare, research, and precision medicine. Their clinical genomics platform helps clinicians interpret genetic data, support rare disease diagnosis, and guide treatment decisions.

As a Full Stack Software Developer, you’ll contribute to a production-grade platform where reliability, quality, and robust engineering practices are essential. At the same time, you’ll have the opportunity to explore how AI can transform engineering workflows — from simple LLM prompts to autonomous agents capable of handling multi-step development tasks. Your work will help make clinical software more reliable while pushing forward how engineering teams build, test, and deliver software.

What you’ll do in this role

• Own and deliver full stack features using React/TypeScript and Python/ Node.js.
• Design, implement, test, deploy, and monitor production-ready solutions.
• Ensure high-quality, reliable software by considering edge cases, failure modes, and maintainability.
• Contribute to building AI-powered automation and autonomous agents for software development workflows.
• Develop solutions for automated code review, requirements validation, documentation generation, and workflow orchestration.
• Integrate services such as GitHub, Jira, Slack, and AWS into automated engineering workflows.
• Drive improvements to CI/CD, developer tooling, and engineering processes.
• Collaborate with other engineers to design solutions, review code, and continuously improve development practices.

We’re looking for

• 3–6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Full Stack development skills with React and TypeScript.
• Solid experience with Python and/or Node.js.
• Experience building and working with REST APIs.
• Good understanding of Git workflows and CI/CD.
• Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
• A quality-first mindset — you write tests, consider edge cases, and think about what could break before shipping.
• Genuine interest in AI and LLMs, with a willingness to experiment and build with emerging technologies.
• Strong ownership and a proactive, self-driven approach.

How to knock our socks off

• Hands-on experience building LLM-based agents with tool calling, multi-step orchestration, and state management.
• Experience with prompt engineering and structured instruction authoring (.md-based agent configs, skill files)
• Understanding of token optimization and context-window management.
• Experience building RAG pipelines using vector stores, embeddings, and semantic search.
• Familiarity with agent frameworks such as MCP, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar technologies.
• Experience integrating AI agents with developer tools and engineering workflows.
• Background in healthcare, clinical, regulated, or other high-reliability software.
• Naming five or more dishes that include beetroot besides borshch.
