Marinus Analytics is seeking a talented and motivated Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will have experience building and maintaining modern web applications, working within cloud-based environments, and collaborating across cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, user-focused solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/QUALIFICATIONS

• Design, develop, test, and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications.
• Build intuitive and engaging user interfaces using React.
• Develop and support applications built on the Django (Python) framework.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate front-end components with web services.
• Participate in architecture, design, and code review processes to ensure high-quality deliveries.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end and full-stack application issues.
• Develop, maintain, and deploy applications within Linux-based AWS cloud environments.
• Work with PostgreSQL databases to support application functionality and performance.
• Work with advanced search capabilities using Opensearch.

EXPERIENCE

• Must be currently enrolled or have graduated with a BS or MS degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including: C/C++, Java, or Python.
• Experience building crawlers
• Experience building web applications
• This position is remote or flex (depending on your preference), but the candidate must live in Pittsburgh, Pa
