About the Role

ClickHouse is hiring Full Stack Software Engineers for its Control Plane team. The team develops and maintains the Cloud Console, a web application that allows users to manage database services, control user access, execute SQL queries, explore data through interactive dashboards, and monitor system performance.

In this role, you will build scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure while developing application features across the frontend and backend. You will work with TypeScript, Node.js, React, and cloud platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve application performance, security, and user experience. This position is suited to an experienced software engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems and contributing to a growing engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable, highly available, resilient, and secure cloud-based infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver application features.
• Develop and maintain the Cloud Console and its cloud resource management capabilities.
• Ensure application and infrastructure performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Identify performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and fix software defects.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement across engineering practices.

Required Qualifications

• At least 6 years of software engineering experience, including 3 or more years in cloud computing using AWS, Azure, or GCP, or in platform engineering.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Understanding of fundamental design principles for building scalable applications.
• Proficiency with code versioning tools such as Git.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with ClickHouse.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Experience developing analytics or data-intensive applications.

Additional Relevant Experience

• Experience integrating Auth0 or similar authentication solutions.
• Experience working with monorepos and tools such as Yarn workspaces, TurboRepo, or Nx.
• Previous development work involving developer tools, integrated development environments (IDEs), or business intelligence (BI) platforms.
• Experience implementing WebSocket or other real-time features.

Location & Work Arrangement

This position can be remote from any country in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region where ClickHouse has a hiring presence. ClickHouse supports distributed teams and offers a remote-friendly work environment.

Salary & Benefits

The stated compensation range is $195,000–$260,000. Additional benefits include employer contributions toward healthcare, company stock options for new team members, and flexible time off in the United States, with generous time-off entitlements in other countries. Remote employees are eligible for a $500 home office setup allowance. The company also organizes global gatherings and company-wide offsites to encourage in-person collaboration.
