FULL-STACK SOFTWARE ENGINEER / DEVELOPER - ANKARA/TURKEY

To support our growing portfolio of digital initiatives and software development projects in Türkiye and internationally, we are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer / Developer to join our team in Ankara.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications, ensuring quality, performance, and reliability.
• Translate business and functional requirements into robust, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain frontend and backend components of web applications using Java, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks.
• Review code, promote clean-code practices, and maintain engineering standards through code reviews, version control, and appropriate design patterns.
• Design, optimize, and maintain relational databases; write efficient SQL queries and support data integrity, performance, and reliability.
• Create and maintain automated tests, troubleshoot complex issues, resolve defects, and contribute to application performance, security, and stability.
• Collaborate with international and cross-functional teams, communicate technical concepts clearly, and provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing when appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional software development experience, with strong Java skills, experience in Spring Boot and Hibernate, and hands-on experience with frontend frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Git and collaborative development workflows, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and issue-tracking tools such as JIRA or similar platforms.
• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Hands-on experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools responsibly to support implementation, testing, debugging, and documentation, while reviewing and validating their outputs.
• Ability to assess technical trade-offs, solve complex problems, and deliver reliable solutions with attention to quality, maintainability, and detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to explain technical topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English, with the ability to work effectively with international colleagues in a remote and cross-cultural team environment.
