Full Stack Software Engineer - .NET Core & Angular

About the Role

EaseMyTrip.com is seeking a talented, passionate and results-driven Full Stack Software Engineer - .NET Core & Angular to develop and enhance scalable, high-performance travel and eCommerce platforms serving a large customer base.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in ASP.NET Core, C#, Angular, JavaScript, SQL Server and modern web development technologies, with the ability to design, build and deploy reliable applications. This role involves developing customer-facing applications, integrating third-party travel APIs, optimizing booking workflows, improving application performance and collaborating with product and engineering teams to deliver seamless digital experiences.

We are looking for engineers who take ownership of their code, solve complex technical challenges and contribute to building secure, scalable and efficient technology solutions.

Role & responsibilities

1. Full Stack Application Development: Design, develop and maintain scalable web applications using ASP.NET Core, C#, Angular, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
2. Backend Development & API Integration: Build secure, high-performance RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services, including airline, hotel, payment gateway and other travel technology providers.
3. Frontend Development & User Experience: Develop responsive, interactive and user-friendly interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript and modern frontend development practices.
4. System Architecture & Scalability: Contribute to designing scalable application architectures capable of handling high traffic, concurrent users and complex booking transactions.
5. Database Design & Optimization: Develop and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, database schemas and data access layers while ensuring efficient data management.
6. Performance & Reliability Engineering: Optimize application response times, database performance, caching, API latency and system reliability to deliver seamless booking experiences.
7. Application Security & Data Protection: Implement secure authentication, authorization, input validation and data protection practices across frontend and backend systems.
8. Production Support & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve application defects, production incidents, API failures and performance bottlenecks while ensuring minimal business disruption.
9. Code Quality, Testing & Collaboration: Write clean, reusable and maintainable code, participate in code reviews, implement automated tests and collaborate with product managers, QA engineers and development teams.
10. Deployment, Automation & Continuous Improvement: Support CI/CD pipelines, application deployments, version control and ongoing modernization of existing systems using newer technologies and engineering best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Professional Experience: Minimum 3–6 years of hands-on experience in full stack web application development using Microsoft .NET technologies.
2. Backend Technology Expertise: Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Entity Framework and object-oriented programming principles.
3. Frontend Development Skills: Hands-on experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and responsive web application development. Experience maintaining AngularJS applications is advantageous.
4. Database Management: Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, database design, stored procedures, query optimization and performance tuning. Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases is desirable.
5. API & Third-Party Integrations: Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs, working with JSON, integrating payment gateways and handling external service integrations.
6. Scalability & System Design: Understanding of application architecture, caching, asynchronous processing, concurrency, performance optimization and scalable web systems.
7. Security & Coding Standards: Knowledge of secure coding practices, authentication, authorization, API security, software design patterns and clean coding principles.
8. Development Tools & Deployment: Experience with Git, Visual Studio, IIS, debugging tools and CI/CD practices. Familiarity with Docker, Azure or Google Cloud is an advantage.
9. Problem-Solving & Technical Ownership: Strong analytical abilities, understanding of data structures and algorithms, and the ability to independently troubleshoot complex application issues.
10. Collaboration & Execution: Excellent teamwork, communication and time-management skills, with the ability to work in agile development environments and deliver high-quality features within deadlines.
