About the Role

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for enterprise web applications, APIs, and distributed systems. This role will focus on improving software quality, expanding automated test coverage, and integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines to support reliable software delivery.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive hands-on QA automation experience, a strong understanding of testing strategies, and the ability to collaborate with development teams in Agile environments. The position is fully remote within the United States and is offered as a full-time, direct W2 role.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for enterprise web applications, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Expand automated test coverage in collaboration with development teams.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and reliable software releases.
• Apply risk-based testing, exploratory testing, and other appropriate testing strategies.
• Automate REST API testing and validate application behavior across relevant systems.
• Perform data validation using SQL.
• Identify, investigate, and troubleshoot defects through debugging and analytical problem-solving.
• Support testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineering teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Maintain clear testing documentation and communicate findings effectively.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 12 or more years of QA automation experience.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience automating REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid SQL skills for data validation.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or k6.
• Knowledge of containerized testing environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
• Exposure to behavior-driven development frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow.
• Familiarity with security testing fundamentals, including OWASP principles and basic penetration testing.

Position Details

• Location: 100% remote within the United States
• Employment Type: Full-time, direct W2
• Salary Range: $100,000–$150,000 annually
