Delivery Driver – Full-Time or Part-Time

Hours: Flexible, with Saturdays required

We are looking for a reliable, friendly and hardworking Delivery Driver to join our team at Buds & Blooms, working between our Esher and Ascot shops.

We are offering both full-time and part-time opportunities, with full-time hours spread across 5 days per week, including Saturdays.

This is a permanent position, not a seasonal Christmas role.

As a busy florist, our delivery schedules can vary, so flexibility is essential. Some days may require earlier starts to accommodate weddings, funerals, events and other time-sensitive deliveries.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering bouquets, floral arrangements and plants to customers, businesses and venues.
• Transporting flowers, stock and supplies between our Esher and Ascot shops.
• Loading and unloading the delivery vehicle carefully to ensure flowers and arrangements are transported safely.
• Planning and organising delivery routes to ensure orders arrive on time.
• Delivering funeral flowers, wedding flowers and event arrangements to venues at agreed times.
• Assisting with the transportation, loading and unloading of flowers and equipment for events and installations.
• Providing a friendly and professional service when interacting with customers.
• Communicating with both shop teams regarding deliveries, collections and any delays.
• Keeping the delivery vehicle clean, tidy and presentable.
• Assisting with general shop duties when required between deliveries.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a full, valid UK driving licence.
• Is a confident and responsible driver.
• Is reliable, punctual and well-organised.
• Has a friendly and professional manner.
• Is comfortable working independently and managing their own delivery schedule.
• Is physically able to load, unload and transport flowers, arrangements and equipment safely.
• Has good communication skills and can work closely with both shop teams.
• Takes care when handling delicate floral arrangements.
• Is flexible with working hours and comfortable with occasional early starts.
• Is available to work Saturdays as part of their regular working week.
• Has a positive attitude and is happy to help with other tasks when required.

Previous delivery experience would be beneficial, but experience working within the floristry industry is not essential.

Working Hours

We are offering full-time and part-time positions, with working hours depending on the delivery schedule and requirements of the business.

Full-time hours will be spread across 5 days per week, including Saturdays. Part-time hours can be discussed depending on availability and business requirements.

As we regularly provide flowers for weddings, funerals, corporate events and other occasions, some days may require early starts to ensure deliveries are completed at the required times.

Flexibility with working hours and availability on Saturdays are essential for this role.
