Full Time Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets.
• Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize product presentation.
• Supervise cashiering activities, including cash handling, POS transactions, and balancing registers.
• Coordinate employee orientation, training & development initiatives, and schedule shifts effectively.
• Support recruiting efforts through interviewing candidates and onboarding new staff members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles with supervising responsibilities.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a diverse team.
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service excellence.
• Proficiency in retail math, POS systems, inventory management, and cash handling procedures.
• Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs.
• Prior experience with purchasing, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and budgeting is advantageous.
