Position overview: Fascinations is hiring a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join our Colorado Springs, CO team. This onsite leadership role combines hands-on retail operations with coaching and customer engagement. You will support the Store Manager, shape the in-store experience, and help deliver our signature sophisticated and inviting environment for customers seeking premium intimacy, apparel, and wellness products.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager with daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures and shift supervision.
• Lead, motivate, and coach sales associates to meet customer service and sales goals while modeling brand-appropriate behavior and product knowledge.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences by assisting shoppers, offering product guidance, and resolving escalated issues with discretion and professionalism.
• Manage cash handling, POS transactions, deposits, and basic store reporting with accuracy and integrity.
• Execute merchandising standards, maintain attractive displays, and ensure inventory accuracy through regular counts and loss-prevention practices.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training of staff to build a high-performing team.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment and transfers with senior leadership.
• Ensure store compliance with safety, cleanliness, and company policies.

Requirements

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of retail or customer service experience; experience handling cash and operating a POS system.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first attitude.
• Demonstrated ability to lead or mentor team members and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking, lifting up to 40 lbs, and standing for extended periods.

Preferred qualifications

• Previous supervisory or assistant manager experience in retail.
• Familiarity with intimate wellness, apparel, or specialty retail categories and a respectful, discreet approach to sensitive product conversations.
• Experience with inventory management, visual merchandising, and loss-prevention techniques.
• Bilingual skills (Spanish) a plus for serving the Tempe customer base.

Job Description

We are looking for a natural communicator who can easily strike up a conversation with anyone. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. They should be excited to learn about our products and share that knowledge with customers. The role requires someone who can work independently and as part of a team, ensuring a clean and organized store environment. Candidates must be 18 years or older, and experience in retail or sales management is a plus!
