Full Time Assistant Teacher

ABC123 Early Learning Center is a non-profit childcare center in Phoenixville. We are looking for a dependable, self-motivated childcare provider who enjoys caring for the daily needs of young children. Candidates should enjoy playing with and interacting with the children under their care. They should also be efficient at keeping the children safe and clean, and should be comfortable communicating with the parents. They should have experience caring for and managing a group of infants and toddlers along with a co-worker. They should also show pride in keeping their assigned room clean and organized.

The required skills and qualifications are:

• 2+ years of experience working with children
• High School Diploma
• Caring and nurturing attitude towards children
• Cooperative attitude with co-workers
• Must have experience with making bottles and feeding babies.
• Must have experience with and be able to change diapers. Will need to be able to lift and carry infants and toddlers when necessary for diaper changes, seating at tables, and other possible situations.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended period of time as needed to change or comfort child
• Must provide State, Federal, and Child Abuse clearances
• Must have a physical and TB test
